Todd Pickens, O.D..
Dr. Pickens was raised in southern California, and has a Bachelor's Degree in biology from the University of California, Irvine. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1977 from U.C. Berkeley. He did post graduate research in visual neurophysiology. He came to Amador county in 1979, and has practiced primary care optometry here for over thirty years. His wife, Marilyn Hoopes, is a local attorney and judge, and together they enjoy sailing, travel, and searching for antiques. They also farm a vineyard, raising Amador county Zinfandel and syrah wine grapes. Dr. Pickens and his wife recently opened a winery, Karmere Vineyards & Winery (karmere.com) in the Shenandoah Valley of California, where they are producing award winning wines. They have three grown children and ten grandchildren. Dr. Pickens and Marilyn are involved in Lions in Sight, Flying Samaritans and VOSH, traveling to other countries regularly to provide vision care to the indigent populations.

Kelli Garcia, O.D.
Dr. Garcia is an East Bay native, who completed her Bachelor of Science Degree from UC Davis in 1994. She obtained her Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 1998, graduating with honors. She also completed an Ocular Disease Residency at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami in Florida.
Dr. Garcia has been practicing primary eye care, specialty contact lens fittings and diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and other eye disorders since 1998. She is a member of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society, California Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
During her spare time, she enjoys swimming, camping, skiing , and spending time with her husband, Chris, and their daughter.

Kenneth V. Miselis, M.D.
Dr. Miselis was raised in Massachusetts, completed his undergraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He graduated from the University of Vermont Medical School in 1979. His ophthalmology residency was at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. where he was chief resident. Dr. Miselis is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is Medical Director and Surgeon for Heritage Eye Associates in Stockton and has been associated with Amador Eye Care Associates since 1987.
